Course overview
Most development decisions begin with one question: is this site worth pursuing, and on what terms? This course takes a learner through a complete professional site appraisal — assembling background information, reading the site and its surroundings, recording physical and policy constraints, identifying opportunities, and writing the concise appraisal note that a developer, architect, agency or project board actually reads. The emphasis is on defensible judgement: separating what is observed from what is assumed, and stating limitations plainly.
