A design team's analysis pack is being ignored in meetings because the diagrams look decorative. The client cannot tell what any of them prove. The brief is a rebuilt analysis pack for an urban infill site in which every diagram answers one question, uses consistent conventions and can be read in thirty seconds.
Professional scenario
Synthetic urban infill site of 1.4 hectares in a mixed historic and post-war area, with a supplied building footprint layer, street network, land-use survey, a 6.5-metre level fall across the site and photographs of the surrounding block structure produced for teaching.
Planning problem
